To complement our nearly full team of skilled vets, we require a dedicated professional to join us every Thursday and Friday, from 08:30 to 18:30, allowing an hour for lunch and dedicated administrative time. Additionally, a rotational share of Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 13:00 is part of the role.

We are a close knit team who enjoy our good days together and lean together in the harder times - we like a good giggle and also support each other really well. We have a large, experienced team of Veterinary Nurses and we are also a VN training practice. Our warm, friendly reception team would be able to offer you all sorts of support and knowledge should you choose to join us. We are very proud to announce that one of our Nurses has achieved a distinction in the ISFM's Certificate of Feline Nursing. We have a large amount of clients with cats and we work a lot with the local Derby Cats Protection, so if you have a keen interest in working in a Practice who regularly sees a lot of feline patients your wish is one we are able to grant! Our caseload is varied though and support Just For Dogs and also care for exotics and wildlife as well. We see an above average amount of exotic pets due to having a Certificate holder who is supported by a highly experienced exotics nurse. We are really keen to support your expertise or learning goals and incorporate them into services for the practice, so talk to us about any Certificates you are aiming for. We have wonderful, loyal clients, a large number of whom have been with us since the day we opened. We pride ourselves on building excellent relationships with them by being friendly and helpful and offering excellent continuity of care. Derbyshire is really a beautiful place and there is plenty of activities to get involved with locally in your spare time, especially if you enjoy the great outdoors! We are 45 minutes from East Midlands airport so travelling is easy.Meet like-minded professionals
