Senior EHS Manager

£75,000 - £80,000 + benefits
We are working with a specialist manufacturer in Hereford, who have an opportunity for an Senior EHS Manager to join their business and lead their EHS function.
TheSenior EHS Manager will be responsible for:
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of the EHS team and any contractors used on site for EHS reasons.
- To ensure that EH&S remains at the head of the business strategy.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and objectives.
- Drive EH&S strategy by creating and delivering an EH&S plan to meet objectives.
- Act as a strategic leader, change agent, and member of the line management staff.
- Plan and deliver EH&S programs and initiatives to employees.
- Develop, implement, report on and maintain all written EH&S programs and policies in accordance with EA, HSE, PCC and corporate best practice and in compliance with applicable laws
The Senior EHS Managerwill have:
- Significant experience within an engineering/industrial environment in a senior safety environmental or engineering/operations role.
- Experienced at disaster planning, resolution and recovery.
- Experience with external regulatory agencies – EA, HSE is essential
