• Weekend Veterinary Surgeon role at a RCVS accredited small animal practice
• Excellent onsite facilities including Ultrasound, ECG, Haematology, an In-house laboratory, Echocardiology, X-ray, and Tonopen

Our client, situated in the charming market town of Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, is currently seeking a Weekend Vet to join their dedicated team. The position entails participation in the weekend rota, with the option to take on additional shifts during the week if desired.
With a minimum of 1 year's clinical experience, you should feel comfortable with routine presentations and be enthusiastic about advancing in a busy and supportive general practice. A strong commitment to providing high levels of client/patient care is essential.
Our client operates as a busy first opinion veterinary practice, priding itself on delivering top-notch care to each individual patient. The core team members, who have been with the practice for several years, contribute to a friendly and close-knit atmosphere. The team includes experienced vets, a surgery cert holder, a strong RVN to vet ratio, 2 VCA's, and a dedicated reception team.
Within this environment, nurses handle schedule three procedures and consults, allowing vets to concentrate on cases and work-ups. The practice also welcomes a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist, emphasising its commitment to a comprehensive and supportive veterinary offering.
The practice boasts excellent onsite facilities, including Ultrasound, ECG, Haematology, an In-house laboratory, Echocardiology, X-ray, and Tonopen, providing a well-equipped and conducive environment for veterinary care.

The Rota:
• Part time role - Weekend rota only
• 2 Saturdays per month (9am - 5pm)
• No Sundays or OOH
• Saturdays are consults only and there may be some requirement to undertake surgical procedures should they present
