Service Charge Accountant
Harlow - Hybrid
£30,000-£35,000
Cobalt is partnering with an expert in Commercial and Residential Property Management, with assets all over the country, and an excellent track record with their clients.
This role is ideal for an experienced Service Charge Accountant with Residential and Commercial experience who is looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Service Charge Accounts for clients in your portfolio.
Preparing accounting data for external accountants.
Handle multi-schedule accounts, lease apportionments, and void schedules.
Reviewing and processing movements of expenditures between Cost Centres, and prepayments/accruals for Year-End Service Charge Reconciliations.
Preparing service charge calculations including balance sheet reconciliation and detailed analysis of P&L accounts.
Issuing Section 20b where applicable.
Preparing monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
About You
Experience in Commercial or Residential Service Charge Accounting.
Ability to use Property Accounting Software such as MRI/Yardi/TRAMPS/Qube.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
