Registered Manager – Childrens Care
Residential Service – Boys and Girls
£50,000 per annum

Do you want to work for one of the UK’s leading Children’s Care providers?

Compass Associates are happy to be working with one of the UK’s leading Childrens care providers who specialise in Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioural Disorders. We are looking for a Registered Manager who has experience in Childrens Specialist Care that will oversee the day to day running of a brand-new home within the Melksham area.

This exciting role will involve the initial setting up of a brand-new home, recruiting your very own team to work alongside and supporting the registration of the home with Ofsted. It is a role that is unique where you can put your own stamp on the home and be instrumental in the success of the service and the standards of care that is provided.

Who are we looking for?

– Level 5 (NVQ) Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Services.
– Good initiative and confidence to make decisions when needed.
– Because you will be managing a brand-new home, being innovative with quick problem-solving skills is needed with this developing project.
– Good staff and time management skills.
– Knowledge of the Ofsted regulations and standards they set.
– Experience running a service that specialises in Emotional Behavioural Disorders.
– Someone with a passion for Children’s Care.
– Clear DBS

Location

The service is in Melksham, Wiltshire and is commutable from Chippenham, Trowbridge, Corsham, Warminster and Bath.

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern is standard hours of 9:00am – 17:00pm but flexible depending on needs. The role includes being a part of an on-call rota with different levels of staff before reaching the Registered Manager.
