QA Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Hubs in Oxford & Bristol)

The Role

Are you a talented QA Analyst who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? Would you like to join a successful reinsurance software company that offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexible working options?

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the testing processes and standard to lay the groundwork for the testing function within Imaginera. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and be passionate about quality. You will be developing test strategies and plans along with the associated documentation.

You will be responsible for:

• Performing various methods of testing to assure the acceptance criteria is met
• Developing standards and procedures to ensure product quality and readiness
• Identifying system bugs in new and existing software
• Performing Functional and Regression Testing
• Facilitating UAT with the client

Required Skills

• Experience as a Manual Tester/QA Tester or similar role (2+ years)
• Experience with Software Test Design and Test Methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the full STLC
• Excellent documentation skills
• Experience with SQL

Desirable Skills

• ISTQB Foundation
• BDD experience
• Knowledge of C#
• Experience with Automation Testing
• Experience in reinsurance or capital markets
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
