Axcis are working with an exciting education centre in Exeter who are looking for a full time learning support assistant to join their busy, friendly team!
The centre work with children from all walks of life, they have been through trauma and struggle to build relationships. They all have social, emotional, mental health and have been transferred from Mainstream schooling due to their behaviours. Your role will be a 1-1 learning support assistant working 80% of your day in the community. The ideal candidate must be able to drive and apply for business insurance. The school give you two weeks of training and invest in you, to develop your skills. Through out your day you will commute the child to social worker or doctor appointments as well as activities and education programmes. This may be a trip to the beach or library. The centre is approaching their education with a diverse curriculum with the plan to get them back in to school or plan their future after school. The role is working from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 3:00, paying a rate of £80 per day. You may have personal or work experiences previously which are both acceptable for this role.
