WSP is seeking a skilled and dedicated ICT Inspector to join our team for an airport project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inspection, testing, and commissioning of information and communication technology (ICT) systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations. As an ICT Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of ICT systems within the airport infrastructure.
Inspection and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of ICT systems, including network infrastructure, telecommunications, security systems, and audiovisual systems, to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Testing and Commissioning: Coordinate and participate in the testing and commissioning activities of ICT systems, including conducting functional tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring proper system integration.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, test results, and commissioning documentation, accurately documenting findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken. Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and in compliance with project procedures.
Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients, to address technical concerns, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of ICT-related activities.
Compliance and Standards: Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing ICT systems in airport facilities. Ensure all ICT installations and procedures adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to project team members and end-users as needed, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to operate and maintain ICT systems effectively.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Adhere to HSE policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment and taking proactive measures to mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with ICT installation and operation.
