Job description
As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Senior Assistant Finance Manager to be based at a busy Head Office in Plymouth.
Duties to Include :
- Ownership of business unit reporting (preparing monthly management accounts and adhoc analysis)
- Finance business partnering with key teams throughout the wider business
- Review and challenge of monthly accruals for the wider business
- Owning and challenging the output of the Overheads team
- Preparing and submitting monthly Intrastat reports
- Assisting with year end audit
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications, skills and experience:
This is a demanding role in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in a commercial organisation
- Experience preparing management accounts with commentary
- Strong Excel skills, with experience of financial modelling (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- The confidence to challenge existing practices and seek improvements
