IT Support Engineer – Windows Server, AD, M365, Intune, VMware, Hyper-V, Backups
We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) to join a well-established and trusted managed service business with endless opportunity to grow and further your career.

Day to day you’ll be: - Logging and processing support tasks from all sources (calls, emails and tickets)
- Resolving support cases and recording the resolution actions in the case management system
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Providing technical support for a range of technologies and clients (From SME’s to Enterprise level)
- The point of technical escalation for the 1st line team and ensuring high levels of service are delivered and maintained.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults
- Taking full ownership of incidents and ensuring they are quickly prioritised appropriately
- Working closely with users to resolve queries
- Dealing with general maintenance of hardware (including desktop & laptop builds)
- Communicating and liaising verbally and in writing with all stakeholders (Internal users, customers, suppliers etc.)
- Diagnosing and resolving complex business issues in an MS environment
- Managing hardware and equipment maintenance upgrades
- Pursuing personal development of your skills/ knowledge base to effectively perform the role at a high standard.
