About the Role:

12 month maternity cover - Trade/Customer Marketing Manager 

We have a great opportunity available for an experienced shopper, trade or customer marketing enthusiast to join our foodservice hospitality channel team as our trade customer marketing manager, responsible for activating brands across iconic accounts such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Prezzo, Cafe Nero, Wasabi and much more! and popular brands!

As our customer and trade marketing manager, you will engage with our customer management teams to ensure that we have a full understanding of their customers’ strategy, tactics and approach to shopper marketing to bring brands to life and elevate our customers' shopper experiences.

This role is central to our planning and execution of commercial initiatives and you will be connecting will be connecting with the Sales team, Category Strategy, Business Performance Insights, Brand Marketing & Shopper Marketing teams on weekly basis.

With the support of our brand activation executive, you will spearhead efforts while guidance, mentorship and leadership to ensure the team's triumph and channel success!

Key Responibilities:

1. Develop, shape and evolve future growth opportunities within the channel
2. Execute close working relationship with cross functional partners including brand teams, customer management & shopper strategy 
3. Project lead on strategic budget allocation process, partnering with brand teams such as 7up and Tango, to ensure overall brand and business objectives are being met.
4. Develop and execute relevant toolkits to bring AOP to life & cascade to teams
5. Support monthly performance cycle tracking against AOP big rocks supporting the commercial team on their in year delivery
6. Support Customer Management team through delivery of inspirational brand execution selling in key customer meetings and engagement days
7. Evaluation of activations within the channel to achieve brand activation excellence

Knowledge, Skilla and Experience Required:

1. FMCG experience, ideally in a beverage or food environment.
2. Line management experience preferred but not essential
3. Understanding or experience within Food Service/Dining Sub Channel preferred but not essential
4. Meticulous project management & leadership capability and commercial grounding to ensure delivery of plans.
5. Practical experience of shopper marketing management, budget management & first-hand experience of managing multiple customer relationships
6. Shopper marketing expertise with solid experience of leading, managing and executing commercially grounded marketing activity into customers 
7. Track record of creating and successfully activating brand, NPD and portfolio activities
8. Commercial and category understanding- category / Customer Marketing &/or commercial experience also valued
9. Strategic thinking and ability to develop a clear vision, create an annual plan and engage a wide network of stakeholders to deliver that plan with key customers
