SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS

£100 PER DAY

Camden (NW1)

MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 4PM

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual seeking an impactful role in the field of Special Education? Prospero teaching are seeking enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN school in Camden (NW1). This position focuses on providing support to students aged 5-19 with mixed ability Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with mixed ability ASD to facilitate their learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with ASD is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in special education or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the unique needs of students with ASD.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide professional related references
