Job description

The Butcher will be responsible for preparing, cutting and packaging various types of meat products to meet customer demand. Assist customers with their meat selection and provide expert advice on cooking techniques and recipe ideas. They will be expected to maintain a clean and organised work area. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations. Full training will be given on all duties. .

Responsibilities

• Team building.
• Knife skills.
• Stock rotation.
• Waste management.
• Ability to conduct temperature measurements and place on temperature control records along with dates.
• Labelling and weighing products correctly.
• Boning of beef, turkey, lamb and pork.
• Manufacturing sausages, burgers and mince.

The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Location: Smyth's EUROSPAR Salary: 16/17yrs £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour
