Marine Coordinator /Shipmentment Coordinator
Full Time
Salary Range: £73,400 - £99,400 Depending Experience
Location - London
You will be an integral part of both the Global and Crude trading Teams, coordinating and implementing safe efficient and cost-effective dispatch and voyage of out clients owned and charted vessels that transport the company's cargoes domestically and or worldwide, furthermore you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling terminal / refinery inventory along with lifting and delivery schedules for crude and petroleum products.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the logistics
- related to processing of customer orders.
- Coordinates with sales staff, dispatchers, customer service representatives, warehouse staff and shipping/receiving.
- Answers inquiries from customers and investigates complaints regarding services and policies.
- Input, update and consolidate ETA/shipping data and send to appropriate business units.
- Analyses load information from customers to determine and verify the appropriate routes, rates, and schedules.
- Coordinate's shipment schedules with vendors.
- Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
- This position would typically include senior Logistics/Shipments Coordinators with extensive
- prior experience.
Essential experience
- must have experience in shipping liquid cargoes.
About you
- Be Educated to Degree Level (or Equivalent) in a numeric discipline e.g Engineering, Science, Economics Finance Mathematics or Statistics (or relevant work experience underpinned by strong P&L Performance
- Have Previous Marine Commerical Experience, focused predominantly on - Evaluate optimise and manage Freight operations
- Possess an understanding of risk management
- A broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership shills with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a milt cultural team environment
- Have fluent English Language Skills, both Written and verbal, with an additional language skill being desirable
- Have Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Problem solving.
Excellent Customer service.
- Strong communication skills as this position will be contact point for government officer.
- Familiarity/Proficiency with computer systems.
- Logical thinking skills for logistics
As part of the onboarding screening process for this role a DBS/Drug & alcohol test required.
