Job Title : Warehouse Operative
Location : Altrincham – great commuting distance from Sale / Hale / Trafford / Wythenshawe
Driving License and Combi/Fork Lift License Required
Job Type : Permanent, Mon-Fri 9.00 - 5.00pm, 1 hour lunch break. (35 hour working week), Free Parking
This is a great opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company who are leaders within their field.
You will be providing support within a small warehousing team of three, and assist with transporting orders over designated routes ensuring safe operations of vehicles, and loading and unloading orders.
Responsibilities: - Picking and packing goods for customers in an efficient time
- Taking care of the products while in packing process
- Lifting, wrapping and loading products for shipping
- Following the safety protocols whilst operating combi lift
- Loading delivery vehicles
- Maintaining clean working area
- High level of health and safety standards and protocols
- Checking collection and delivery forms
- Maintaining detailed records of deliveries and warehouse operations
Requirements:
- Valid clean driving license AND Combi/Fork Lift license required
- Previous warehouse and delivery experience
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
