As our Lead Engineer you will join our incredible Engineering team. You will be responsible for supporting the development, testing and validation of the User Interface (Infotainment, driver cluster) vehicle control system functions
This role is a hybrid role, you would be needed at our Warwick site 3/4 times per week.
We would like you to:
- Review requirements, create Test Specs, plan and execute test campaigns, report results with traceability.
- Be responsible for root cause analysis of the UI control systems (ability to work in a fast-moving team)
- Participate in the testing strategy: test coverage vs timing deliverables, identify risks
- Propose, and build if needed, Test assets (bench test, HIL rig)
- Lead a team with ability to delegate when appropriate to efficiently progress key activities.
We would like you to have:
- Relevant experience in User interfacing systems (HMI, Infotainment, Clusters, user experience).
- Experience of Automotive systems and Networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- The ability to understand complex embedded systems architecture.
- Test Automation experience
- Automotive experience in the fields of Control systems, Test validation.
- Proficiency in some of the following Vector tools: Canalyzer, CANoe, VT Systems.
- Experience in Vehicle or HIL systems testing.
- Understanding of key advantages of Simulation
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to Functional Safety, Cybersecurity concepts
