Chosen Hill School Attendance Officer Grade 5: Point 9-12 £25,119 to £26,421 per annum. Permanent Contract 37 hours per week Term time only (39 weeks) In order to achieve our aims our support staff team are integral to our success. The role will be suited to someone who is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, and who has experience of working in a busy office environment. Experience of working in a school or college environment is desirable. Candidates should be organised and self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with the pastoral team, outside agencies, teachers, support staff and students. The successful candidate will be computer literate and ideally have a knowledge of the school information system, SIMS. Chosen Hill School is looking for an exceptional Attendance Officer who enjoys working with young people and understands the importance of creating a positive environment. They will engage with all members of the school community so will have proven communication skills and be confident in working with different groups of people. The main purpose of an Attendance Officer is to maintain student attendance records and act as liaison between the pastoral team and parents in all matters related to attendance. The successful applicant will promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with students and their families to promote high levels of attendance. Chosen Hill School is a thriving and ambitious comprehensive academy, judged good by Ofsted in all categories. It is a large, popular, and successful 11-18 Academy School situated in Churchdown, halfway between Cheltenham and Gloucester.
