Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy.
- Lead internal and external communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align company messages.
- Oversee the creation of marketing and promotional materials.
- Manage communication crises and media relations.
- Monitor and report on communication performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
The Successful Applicant
A successful Communications Officer should have:
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a relevant field.
- Public sector experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software
- Experience in web design and content production is a plus.
