As a Procurement Category Manager, you will take the lead in developing and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives within your remit. About You
With 5 years of experience in Procurement and MCIPS qualified, or willing to work towards, ideally you are Degree qualified, Carbon Literacy Certified and have experience in a large multi-site environment, including understanding of GHG protocol, carbon accounting, and reporting tools (CDP, Ecovardis). You have commercial acumen in line with business scale and spend and have excellent customer service, project management and planning skills, and ideally have experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI). Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas.
