Overview

KBRA Europe is seeking a talented intern to join the European Research Team as a Research Intern. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of a credit rating agency analyst and to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting. You will have the opportunity to contribute and help author market leading research reports on topics relevant to European capital markets. This internship will be in our London, UK office. The target start date is mid-June.

As an intern, you will:

• Provide general analytical support for KBRA’s research analysts.
• Prepare internal and external reports and presentations in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Develop spreadsheets and analytical materials to support the research process.
• Evaluate financial statements to analyse company performance.
• Contribute to project and research support, including work on ESG (environmental, social & governance) initiatives.
• Be exposed to senior level industry experts.
• Assist our support departments with ad hoc tasks

About You

You excel in a fast-paced, intellectual, and friendly environment. You have a natural analytical aptitude towards problem solving and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done.

Required Key Skills/Expertise:

• Undergraduate concentration in finance, economics, accounting, or math.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong appetite for knowledge, especially in data and finance.
• Strong Excel skills. You must be able to easily manipulate and format large data sets.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative environment.
