Salary : L1 (£47,185)– L4 £50,807)

The Aurora Group
We’re really pleased to have opened Aurora Summerfields School in April 2023 in Wilmslow with a proposed capacity of 50 students.
This is a newly established independent specialist school for young people aged 5 to 19, who face difficulties as a result of complex communication needs typically associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions. The school mirrors our “Outstanding”rated Aurora Hanley School which you can read about here
Due to our ahead of target success, we’re currently looking for an experienced Assistant Headteacher (to start in September 2024)
As an SEN school we offer a broad curriculum leading to Entry /Functional and where possible GCSE qualifications alongside a life skills pathway to positively impact social skills, personal development and employability.
The Role
Like most Assistant Head positions; your role will be to oversee teaching and learning. You’ll have a core teaching commitment (60%) as well as a range of leadership responsibilities (40%).
