Exciting Opportunity for a Systems Engineer!

Are you a passionate and proactive Systems Engineer ready to take on new challenges? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team and support the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

About the Role: As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a vital role in configuring and fine-tuning various technology components to ensure optimal performance and reliability network-wide. This REMOTE role offers flexibility while requiring occasional travel, making it ideal for Midlands-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance existing infrastructure.
• Deploying, configuring, and maintaining VMware and Windows Server environments.
• Managing multi-factor authentication and endpoint security solutions.
• Implementing web and reverse proxy solutions for secure access.
• Overseeing backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Providing remote support and incident management following ITIL processes.
• Staying updated on industry trends and recommending improvements.

Your Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Net+, VMWare VCP, etc.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server environments and endpoint protection.
• Experience with web security, cloud services, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Knowledge of backup and replication technologies.
• Familiarity with VMware infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
