Job description
Are you an experienced Stocktaker or Stock Auditor with a background in the licenced trade? Fed up working for a company that doesnt allow you to manage your own diary and time? If so this role is just for you. As well as a salary of up to £31,000, they offer fantastic benefits including 21 days holiday plus bank holidays per year (rising to 25 days over time), pension scheme, laptop and mobile along with all equipment to carry our your role provided.
What will you be doing as a Stocktaker? Working from home, you will look after a range of customers across the North West, from Manchester to Lancaster. You will be looking after a mixture of corporate and private customers in the licenced trade with a wide range of pubs, hotels and restaurants. Duties will include:
- Arranging suitable appointments with customer to carry out audits
- Stocktaking all liquor and food on customer sites
- Creating a plan to meet customer requirements
- Creating reports and feeding back to landlords and business owners
- Offering guidance and advice regarding stock levels to help improve profits
What skills and experience will you need as a Stocktaker?
- Previous experience in a similar Stock taker or Stock Auditor in the licensed trade
- Your own transport and full current driving licence
- Self motivated with the ability to plan proactively and manage your own diary
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all manner of customers
- An ITSA (Institute of Licenced Stock Auditors) qualification would be beneficial but is not essential
- Experience using some form of stocktaking software
