HR/Payroll Advisor
Initial 12 month Contract
Milton Keynes
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the team as an HR and Payroll Assistant.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the HR and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- This position requires a strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support HR processes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and file maintenance.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Generate and maintain HR and payroll reports for management as needed.
- Provide data and reports for audits and compliance reviews.
- Effectively communicate with employees regarding HR and payroll-related matters.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to address HR and payroll issues.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of HR and payroll records.
- Assist in maintaining a secure and confidential HR filing system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR and/or payroll assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HR and payroll processes and regulations.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
