Machine Operator on Night Shift

Permanent position!!!

Night Shift 2200-0600
Monday - Friday
Telford
Annual salary £ 26,480.00

I am keen to speak to an experienced machine operator to join a small well working together team in a clean and modern production.
This role is responsible for setting up and running a section of a production line. Successful applicant will take responsibility for the health and safety, quality and performance of the machines.

Main responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
• Use safe working practices at all times;
• Check initial accuracy and quality of product and remedy any deviation from specification prior to start of job run;
• Set up/re-install production line through to finished product in the event of a job change or breakdown;
• Monitor and maintain efficient running of machine during job run;
• Identify all line equipment faults and rectify or report as appropriate;
• Make regular quality checks on product against customer specification;
• Working as a team with Packer/Operators within the production unit.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of operating machines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
• Proven experience of meeting deadlines;
• Ability to read and understand production plans and specification sheets;
• Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the team and at all levels, both internally and externally.
