Demoulding Technician
Location: Newquay
Shifts: Full time, Monday-Thursday 7:30am until 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am until 1:00pm
Salary: £11.79 per hour
Contract: Temporary for 6 months with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff
We are currently seeking experienced Production and Factory Operatives to join our friendly factory in Newquay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform unloading of encapsulations from ovens in preparation for demoulding.
*Demoulding multiple cold casts, cleaning, and assembling moulds for the next day.
*Coordinate with fellow team members in the section to ensure accurate loading of moulds.
*Thoroughly clean all tools post-demoulding.
*Willingness to undergo cross-training to fulfil responsibilities in other sections such as main casting and cold casting.
*Adhere to all Health and Safety (H&S) protocols throughout the factory.
*Flexibility to work in different areas of the facility.
*Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times.
Ideally, candidates should have a background in manufacturing / production or prior experience in manual labour. We are particularly interested in individuals who are deadline focused and able to use their initiative. Experience working with resins within manufacturing is desirable.
