Cover Supervisor
Runcorn
Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible and rewarding role in secondary schools across Runcorn?
Academics are a leading national agency and we’re looking to recruit a dedicated cover supervisor to join us to provide support to secondary schools across Runcorn starting ASAP!
As a Cover Supervisor you will provide essential support, ensuring the smooth running of classrooms during teacher absences.
Main Cover Supervisor responsibilities:
* Supervise the classroom, delivering pre-planned lessons effectively
* Manage the classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Follow school policies and procedures to maintain discipline and safety
* Adapt to different school environments and establish a rapport with students
What you will need to work as a Cover Supervisor with Academics:
* Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage the classroom and handle various subjects/topics
* Flexible, adaptable and reliable with a positive attitude
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (Cost applied)
