Overview
Debbie Burbage Recruitment is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Administrator to join our manufacturing client based in Milton Keynes. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within various departments and maintaining the highest level of efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily liaison with the Production team, addressing any issues and managing all related paperwork efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive support in Contracts Administration, including reviewing and making necessary amendments to information.
- Responsible for the scanning of completed paperwork into Docuware, encompassing customer orders, Internal ECN’s, accounts payable documents, project documents, and PODs.
- Creation and management of Sales orders; accurately entering data into the system from customer PO’s and ensuring necessary codes are entered correctly in the MRP.
- Verify the accuracy of data such as purchase order numbers, part numbers, quantities, on-dock dates, delivery locations, prices, and special instructions.
- Collaborate with the Contracts team to resolve any problems, inconsistencies, or missing data in source documents.
- Assist with all HR administrative tasks, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Perform general administrative duties and provide ad hoc assistance to the Financial Controller as required.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Document Management Systems (e.g., Docuware).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with different departments.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively.
Benefits
- Salary £24,000 – £26,000 (depending on experience).
- 28 days holiday including statutory holidays. (Increasing with service)
- Working hours 8am – 4:30pm (Mon – Thurs) & 8am – 2pm finish on Fridays – (37.5 hours pw)
