Job description
We're looking for a professional film maker to help tell our story and demonstrate the impact we have on young cancer patients across the UK.
What will you be doing?We need a 2 - 3 minute film to explain the services Dragonfly Cancer Trust provide for young cancer patients and their families, as well as demonstrating our impact and inspire future support.
The film will premiere at our annual charity ball in October and subsequently be used on our website and social media channels.
We're looking for someone to help us overcome the challenges we face when showcasing what we do as an organisation and help to tell our story to a range of audiences.
The film will be a combination of story telling, still images, some film and open to the possibility of animation.
What are we looking for?Filming, editing, story telling, animation, overcoming challenges in a creative way.
If you're full of ideas and want to use your skills to make a positive impact on the lives of young palliative cancer patients and their families, we would love to hear from you.
What difference will you make?The short film will be shown at our annual charity ball before our live auction takes place. It's primary aim for the event is to inspire donations from guests on the night. Following the event, the film will be used with various audiences as a tool to explain the services we offer, demonstrate impact and inspire future support. This film will play a key role in helping the charity achieve the overall goal of reaching more young cancer patients in hospitals and hospices across the UK.
