Job description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a reputable financial services firm in Glasgow. Salary & Terms * Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm * Salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per year (based on experience) * Role & Responsibilities * Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and economic indicators to assess the financial health and performance of clients and prospective investments. * Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning and investment decisions. * Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. * Assist in the development of financial reports, presentations, and investment proposals for internal and external stakeholders. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and investment management, to gather data and insights for analysis. * Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance and investment strategies, recommending adjustments as needed. * Stay informed about regulatory changes, market developments, and industry trends to inform decision-making and provide strategic guidance. Minimum requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. * 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or related roles. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software.
