Description
The Finance Manager will deliver an effective management and financial reporting function to the business. Key duties include provision of timely and accurate daily, weekly and monthly financial information to the business. Steering the business through change whilst continuously improving systems and procedures.
- Lead the team to ensure that all reporting requirements are met and that reporting deadlines are adhered to.
- Manage the month end reporting process
- Develop technical reporting, performance action plan projects, monthly reporting analysis and variance analysis.
- Lead the production of annual budgets and reforecast information to be presented in a reporting pack with detailed variance analysis.
- Provide business partnering to all departments (profitability, working capital requirements)
- Produce and develop the margin analysis and product costing system in order to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure all Company financial procedures are effectively applied at all times.
Profile
The successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Prior experience managing a finance team
- Experience within the manufacturing and production sector
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and systems
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
