This is an exciting and important role for Faversham House on edie, our market leading digital sustainability brand reporting into the Publisher. We want to take a big step forward with edie in 2024-25 and this role is part of a substantial investment into the brand’s growth and value creation strategy. The role oversees edie’s editor and senior conference producer, reporting into the Publisher to deliver profitable commercial content opportunities for the brand.
edie was launched as a digital-only b2b product in 1998 and has led the industry in driving sustainable business through action-focused content and events. The brand has evolved into the UK’s largest community of purpose-driven sustainability and net-zero professionals in recent years; it is well respected and trusted among its core audience and commercial partners alike. Currently, edie has a thriving marketing services business including a prestigious annual awards and paid conference as well as multiple digital and in-person events powered by sponsorship revenues and backed up by award-winning journalistic content. The brand serves a highly engaged community of sustainability leaders and their teams who rely on edie for their news, analysis, professional development and networking opportunities. This newly created role presents a great opportunity for an ambitious content strategist to shape and deliver edie’s year-round programme of sponsored digital content along with a portfolio of expanding conferences and workshop events.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a successful track record in b2b content strategy and delivery and is an experienced manager. They do not have to have direct experience working on or for the sustainability market, although this would be a significant advantage. They will be an experienced content editor and writer; used to shaping commercially successful content ideas and working closely with events teams to drive audience attendance and engagement.
The ability to build relationships and work effectively with commercial partners on shaping and producing content that is a ‘win-win’ for a media brand’s audience and sponsors is essential. Crafting and writing quality editorially-led reports and analysis is an important part of this role.Job tags
