Junior Mechanical Design engineer

The company

Major equipment supplier to the food industry, providing turnkey solutions are now looking for a Junior Mechanical design Engineer to join their team.

Hours:  Mon-Fri

Salary £20K to £25k

Commutable from ; Bedford, Milton Keynes, Rushden, Luton, Dunstable

The role
This role will be ideal for someone who has experience of Solid Works
Will assist in the design and development on new projects
Assist in designs/modifications to standard machinery to suit the clients particular site requirements or engineering changes as required
A strong pre-requisite must be a ‘passion’ for practical, hands-on design solutions with precision engineering components.
Learn how to plan technical drawings for important projects
Enhancing the customer satisfaction levels to be the major focus

Key skills
Junior Mechanical Design Engineer
Some experience with material handling
Good administration and organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
3D Design
Solid work Design
High level of proactivity and problem solving both as an individual & as part of a team
Engineering / Mechanical Design University Degree
