Role: Senior Care Assistant

Location: Aspen Court, Taunton

Hours: 34.5-46 hours per week, 07.45am-08.00pm, includes alternate weekends 

Salary: Starting at £12.00 per hour (+£2 p/h overtime)

THE ROLE

As a Senior Care Assistant you will support residents within the care home, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve. Reporting to the Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and inducting new care staff, assisting in the daily support / care of each individual, in line with their written plan of care in a person-centred way and attending training courses in line with your personal development. 

THE RIGHT PERSON

• Must have a Level 2 Health & Social Care Diploma (or above) 
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role
• Must have demonstrated the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative
• Should demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the Care Home
• Can carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Operations Team
