Residential Deputy Manager Needed in Derby
Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a Residential Deputy Manager to work within our clients gorgeous care home in Derby. About You:
- A passionate and dedicated deputy manager that likes to go that extra mile.
- To have an NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or higher.
- Ability to listen, observe and take the right actions when needed.
- Excellent Communication Skills: both Written and Verbal
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of current dementia and elderly care.
- To be familiar with existing CQC regulations.
- Valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Deputy Manager experience of at least 1 year.
Residential Deputy Manager vacancy details:
- £34,000 - £34,500 pa
- Full time, permanent contract
- Small sized care home registered for 40 service users.
- Elderly and Dementia Care
- 'Good' Rated CQC on 4 areas.
Residential Deputy Manager main duties:
- Collaborate with the home manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the care home ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to quality standards
- Provide leadership and support to the care team fostering a culture of empathy, respect and excellence in care delivery
- Assist in devloping care plans and a person centered approach for residents with dementia promoting their well-being and quality of life
- Conduct regular assessments, review and evaluations to maintain high-quality care standards and implementr necessary improvements
- Act as a point of contact for residents, families and external stakeholders addressing inquiries and ensuring effective communication
