As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to revolutionize aerospace technology. With your expertise, you'll drive the development and industrialization of methods for New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Method Development:** Lead the development and industrialization of manufacturing methods for NPI projects, optimizing processes for efficiency and quality.
2. **GD&T Interpretation:** Utilize your excellent ability to interpret Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances (GD&T) on component drawings and manipulate CAD models to ensure accurate production.
3. **Specification Compliance:** Study and interpret internal and customer specifications, incorporating requirements into manufacturing methods to meet and exceed expectations.
4. **Quality Assurance:** Apply your working knowledge of Quality Assurance methods, such as APQP and PPAP, to maintain the highest standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
5. **Problem-Solving:** Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 5-Why, 8D, Ishikawa Diagrams, etc., to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth production operations.
6. **Non-Conforming Product Management:** Assess and disposition non-conforming products related to internal manufacturing, supplier, and customer returns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
7. **Inspection Techniques:** Utilize your working knowledge of component inspection techniques using manual and automated equipment to ensure the integrity of our products.
Qualifications:
• Ideally Degree educated, with a minimum of an HND.
• Experience in developing and industrializing methods of manufacture for New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Excellent ability to interpret Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances (GD&T) on component drawings and manipulate CAD Models.
• Ability to study and interpret associated internal and customer specifications and incorporate the requirements into methods of manufacture.
• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance methods, such as APQP and PPAP.
• Working knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques, such as 5-Why, 8D, Ishikawa Diagrams, etc.
• Ability to assess and disposition non-conforming product related to internal manufacture, supplier, and customer returns.
• Working knowledge of component Inspection Techniques using manual and automated equipment.
