McGinnis Loy Associates are proud to be working with a fast growing Top30 Accounting Firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager / Outsourcing Manager to join their growing Business Services team in Stratford-Upon-Avon.  Managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, this is a fantastic opportunity to use your Client Outsourcing experience towards achieving promotion in the future, and key duties include:

• Accounts preparation of complex limited accounts jobs through to Partner review, including full reconciliation of balance sheet items and summary file notes
• Preparation of corporation tax return computations for Tax Manager review
• Shared supervision of the Accounts team to ensure the delivery of internal targets
• Review of lower complexity client accounts jobs
• Responsible for shared training / development of part qualified accounts trainees
• Building and maintaining client relationships including client meetings where required
• Dealing with ad-hoc client queries, project assignments, and interaction / support of other departments within the firm
• Identification and implementation of new processes, systems and controls for clients

To be considered for the Accounts Manager / Outsourcing Manager role you should be seeking a firm where wider responsibilities, personal ownership and a broader client base will be made available to you, and knowledge of computerised accounting packages such as Xero and CCH Accounts would be a distinct advantage.  With experience in client management, preparing full sets of accounts & tax computations, you should be able to meet both client and HMRC deadlines, work in fast-paced environments and manage a close-knit junior team.  You should ideally be a Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, or Qualified By Experience.
