An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the award-winning SME based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. As an external recruiter, I am thrilled to present this fantastic role to you.

As an Accounts Assistant , you will have the chance to work in a successful, profitable, and progressive company with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in the Finance department.

The benefits of this role are exceptional, with a competitive salary of £25-£30K depending on experience, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, medical insurance after a qualifying period, and a profit-related bonus after qualifying period. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00-17.00 with a 30-minute lunch break, offering a great work-life balance.

Your duties will include familiarising yourself with all aspects of the finance department and company procedures, supporting the Finance Manager, managing invoices and payments, maintaining client relationships, resolving account queries, and carrying out administrative duties related to the Finance Department.

To excel in this role, you will need to have a smart and professional appearance, be highly motivated with attention to detail, have good analytical and mathematical skills, excellent time management and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with Sage Line 50 is preferable, but training can be provided.

If you have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C and above, previous accounts experience, and preferably previous experience in the construction industry, then this role could be perfect for you.
