Wiltshire Farm Foods have been cooking and delivering delicious and nutritious frozen meals for over 25 years. We are the UK's leading home meal delivery service, with a predominantly older and vulnerable customer base.
We have depots across the UK providing customer service call centre and distribution in a specific local geographic territory.
More than a delivery service, we make a real difference to the lives of our customers through providing excellent service and nutritious food delivered 6 days a week.
The Role and the Team
The Depot Operations Supervisor reports to t he Retail Sales & Operations Manager (RSOM) who has overall responsibility for the depot and service across:
- Customer Services
- Delivery fleet
- Cold store Warehouse
This role is 37.50 hours per week, working any 5 of 6 days (closed Sundays.)

- An integral member of the leadership team, you’ll model the passion and commitment to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
- You will help to drive the consistent delivery of established processes and operational standards.
- You’ll track the team’s performance against achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets.
- Developing both the operational performance of the depot and the skills of your team will be a key aspect of the role.
- The Depot Operations Supervisor has responsibility for areas such as health & safety, stock management, local delivery fleet management and facilities maintenance.
- You’ll be ready and willing to get involved in the day-to-day tasks if needed, including deliveries (so a full UK driving licence is essential.)

- Previous experience of leading a team within a retail, wholesale, customer service or operational/logistics environment

- Food safety training

- Experience of developing a team
- Experience of implementing operational policies and processes
