Alexander Steel Recruitment has partnered with a highly innovative and growing food manufacturing business. They bring tasty and fun branded and private label food products to the major UK retailers. This family run business is incredibly proud of the significant growth they are going through. Due to this growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical and NPD Assistant to join their team at their site in Wiltshire. On offer; • A salary of £28,000 to £30,000 doe • 28 days holiday • Pension • Excellent and exciting career development opportunities The role: As Technical and NPD Assistant you will support both the Technical Manager and the NPD Director Responsibilities include; • Be an active member of the HACCP team • Ensuring food safety and quality standards through daily and monthly checks and inspections • Ensuring products are produced in adherence to required specifications • Conducting traceability exercises • Preparing and sending out NPD kitchen samples to customers with proper documentation for feedback • Microbiological tests • Maintaining and updating product specifications, ingredient and packaging specifications, quality attribute sheets, and production record Facilitating taste panel sessions • Conducting label checks. • Meticulously documenting all NPD-related data including sample submissions, customer approvals, completion of NPD checklists for initial production runs, recipe adjustments, and nutritional information.
