Job description
We are looking to employ a Performing Arts teacher to join our thriving Performing Arts Faculty here at Midhurst Rother College. This enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Performing Arts should have an interest in teaching Music, Dance and/or Drama to join us for the Autumn Term. Our ideal candidate would have a Music specialism and should be passionate about delivering the best possible performing arts curriculum to our students in order to raise their aspirations and attainment.
The department boosts a high intake of GCSE, A level and BTEC students across all subjects with students across the key stages actively joining the variety of enrichment and extra activities offered in school.
Applicants will be expected to share the love of the Arts that is promoted here and the opportunities it offers our students. Our school productions, concerts and trips are highly attended across the year groups.
The Teacher of Performing Arts will lead, motivate and inspire students, staff, parents and the wider community, to ensure every student is confident in himself/herself, is respectful of others, achieves well and gains the skills and qualifications to succeed in life and at work.
