Your new school
This school has been commended for its consistent high quality teaching, with teachers having a genuine want for students to do well. As well as teachers supporting students to do well, there is also a strong support network for staff, with SLT supporting the whole school and genuinely caring about their staff and students welfare whilst also always striving to make the school the best it can be.

The school is easily commutable by both car and public transport, with it only being a 10-minute journey from Dudley Bus Station by bus.

The school are seeking an interim teacher to join them from April till July, 5 days a week (although part-time could be considered).

Your new role
As this is a long-term role, you will be required to:

• Plan and prepare Psychology and/or Sociology lessons for pupils in KS5
• Complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work, along with being involved with facility and department meeting
• You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target grades
• Have a focus on keeping high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status
• Experience of teaching Psychology or Sociology within a secondary school is essential. ECT's with placement experience will be considered
• You will possess excellent behaviour management skills.
• You will be keen to work as part of a team, share ideas and good practice.
• You will be available to start at Easter and continue on a long-term basis.
