A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced and capable sales professional or engineer within the Bedfordshire/Cambridge area to work for a leading energy management organisation whose head office is in South Yorkshire. Covering the north of London and the surrounding area up to Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, you will be tasked with managing the current client base and developing new relationships in order to win business and increase revenue to meet the expectations of the company. As well as a salary of up to £40,000 there will also be attractive uncapped commission opportunities with OTE of 60,000 + and a fully expensed company car.


The Role 

As an Area Sales Manager, you will have full responsibility for your territory, managing the existing client base already established and seeking new opportunities for business growth. You will be given a structured set of objectives and targets which you will be expected to hit and will also need to focus on extending the product range in order to increase revenue streams. In addition, you will use your understanding of the industry to provide your clients with support and ideas for future success. 

The Company 

A leading energy management company who operate on an international basis, my client is a leading designer and manufacturer of energy saving solutions and specifically voltage optimization systems. The innovative solutions they provide enable businesses to be both more eco friendly and cost effective. Due to further expansion the company are now looking to employ new Area Sales Managers. 

Requirements

The successful candidate will preferrably have qualifications or experience related to electrical engineering and ideally some knowledge of energy efficiency. You will be a sales individual with a strong record of managing a territory, meeting and exceeding targets or a sales engineer with experience of meeting clients and consulting on electrical products. The company supply a wide variety of commercial clients and you will therefore need to be adaptable and a good communicator. As the role requires travel throughout a specified region, a full and clean drivers license is required. 

Benefits

As well as a basic salary of £40,000 you will also benefit from OTE of 55,000+ uncapped commission as well as a fully expensed company car. Private Health and Life Insurance is provided after 3 months service. You will receive 20 days holiday, increasing to 21 after 3 years service with an additional day from every year there after, up until 25 days.
