POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sales growth of the UK, Europe & African territories, and the achievement of maximum profitability in line with our strategic plans, vision, and values.

This exciting and challenging role is an integral part of the Sales Team based in the UK, reporting to the EMEA Sales Director.

You will develop, implement, and execute business development plans and strategies and work closely with the UK and Global Sales and Marketing Team.

You will be a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth and will thrive in a fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged.

KEY DUTIES:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence in key locations and markets in the UK, Europe, and Africa
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective business development strategies
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
• Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within a relatable industry
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team environment

You will ideally have experience of selling into one or more of the following industries:

• UK or European Telecoms
• Electricity Transmission & Distribution
• Oil & Gas
• Offshore Wind
• Hydraulic Hose Manufacture and / or Distribution
  

The UK Office is based in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. For the right person, there is scope for the post holder to be based anywhere in the UK, with regular visits to the office.

OTHER:

This position will require a significant amount of international travel.

A full driving licence is required.

A minimum education of A-Levels or higher.
