We're looking for talented Marketing Manager to join our Team. A hands on role you'll develop, implement and monitor marketing plans for the Hallmark brand in UK & Ireland, aligned with wider Hallmark UK and International business goals, ensuring brand consistency and integrity both offline and online.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organising and controlling marketing activity that will increase purchase intent amongst trade and consumers and increase sales within the varied distribution channels
- Directs new approaches and strategies utilising knowledge of consumer behaviour, shopper insights, trends, and competitive information
- Manage the organisation and execution of brand events, including but not limited to trade and direct to consumer activities
- Bring Hallmark’s Brand, Charity & Licensing proposition to life for trade audiences via the creation and delivery of a marketing plan, including the use of case studies and advertorials
- External PR and corporate communications – Manage trade PR relationships for all product and customer initiatives
- Utilise appropriate social channels (Linked In etc.) to showcase relevant content to customers, working cross-functionally to ensure the right mix of content is achieved for those channels
- Lead the development and execution of effective retail solutions across independents and retailers with the support of procurement, product & range teams.
- Budget management and the ability to track annual spend, with the support of the procurement team
- Identify ways to improve performance and best practice approaches from regular competitor monitoring and leveraging consumer and market insights
To be successful you will need:
- Solid marketing experience with a well-rounded approach and previous experience of working FMCG company, ideally a creatively-led business
- Be credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, developing strong, positive relationships, effective linkage and integration with key partners
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
- Ability to demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with other department functions
- Commercial awareness with the ability to measure and communicate the impact of the activity
