Head Veterinary Nurse - Berkshire

• This role could lend itself to someone with clinical leadership experience or a RVN looking for their first Head Nurse role!
• Salary £32,500 per annum and exclusive company discounts and rewards.
• This role offers a 4-day week, only 1:6 weekends, and the ideal work-life balance with no OOH

Our client is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join an exceptional team at their branch, located in a bustling town that embodies the perfect fusion of city convenience and vibrant cultural diversity, just 20 miles from the heart of London.

The team is made up of two highly skilled veterinary surgeons and two passionate student veterinary nurses, who work closely together to deliver thorough and empathetic care. The seasoned surgeons bring a wealth of expertise to the practice, while the eager student nurses bring a vibrant energy and new ideas.

You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of the veterinary practice. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the performance of the entire team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to clients and their pets. You will be responsible for fostering a well-informed and motivated nursing staff, establishing clear objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews. Additionally, your role will involve completing clinical coach training to effectively support and train the student nurses.

Our client is looking for a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. You will have excellent people skills, be a great communicator, empathetic, and a good team player.

The practice is nestled in the heart of Berkshire, a thriving town that offers a diverse tapestry of opportunities, from its bustling business landscape to its array of cultural and recreational amenities. With excellent transport links, a range of shopping and dining options, and proximity to green spaces, the area presents an ideal balance of urban conveniences and a welcoming community atmosphere.

The Role:

• Full Time, Permanent
• 40 hours per week
• 4 days
• Preferably 1:6 weekends
• No OOH
