Agency carers required to work in the Community – must drive and have access to their own vehicle to get to service users homes within Thurrock.
Evidence needed to prove that they have undertaken training in Medication, Moving & Handling, Safeguarding and Basic Life Support.
Special Knowledge – Essential
Understanding the working of care Plans
Understanding of the responsibility of a Keyworker system
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of The national minimum standards care home regulations
Dementia Awareness
Knowledge of social care legislation policies
. Experience – Essential
Working with vulnerable older people
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
