Job description

As a Site Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our exciting mixed-use project in Reading. You'll oversee the construction process, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution. Your leadership will drive collaboration among site teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Manage all on-site activities, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Monitor progress, adherence to project plans, and quality standards.

Implement health and safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

Liaise with local authorities and community representatives.

Team Leadership:

Supervise site staff, including supervisors, labourer, and tradespeople.

Foster a motivated and efficient team, promoting a positive work culture.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality and compliance.

Address any deviations promptly, ensuring project milestones are met.

Champion best practices and continuous improvement.

Mixed Use Expertise:

Understand the unique challenges of mixed-use developments.

Coordinate residential, commercial, and public space components seamlessly.

Balance competing priorities to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably overseeing mixed-use schemes.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.

First Aid At Work

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Valid driving license.

Desirable:

Degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or related field.

Experience with Reading's local planning regulations.
