Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine their needs and the appropriate level of care.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by medical practitioners, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in condition, escalating concerns to relevant healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatments administered and patient responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors and therapists, to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication, and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery and improve quality of life.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest in nursing practices and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong preference for those who have specialised in areas relevant to our patient demographic.
- Proficiency in clinical skills, including patient assessment and IV therapy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with patients and team members.
- A compassionate nature and resilience in challenging situations.

Preferred:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications relevant to speciality nursing practices.
