Job description

ASAP START Administrator / Business Support Assistant Middlesborough part time (20 hrs per week)

Were working with one of our outstanding clients within the manufacturing industry whore looking for an administrator to join their team on an initial 3 month contract (likely to go perm) on a part time basis.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records

Provide clerical and administrative support to the team

Utilize computerized systems and software to complete tasks

Invoices and timesheets

Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette

Type and proofread documents reports and correspondence

Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is wellorganized

Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars

Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports

Assist with meeting preparation including setting up conference rooms and arranging catering

Requirements

Key skills:

Previous experience in an administrative assistant role or similar position preferred

Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs Sheets Slides)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

Required Skills: - Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently - At least one year of experience in an internal sales office role - Strong customer service ethic - Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in emails and phone calls - Adaptability to changes in the business and industry - Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks - Self-motivated and capable of handling demanding and fast-paced events - Strong time management and project management skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels within and outside the company - Confidence and presentation skills to provide operational advice to staff and senior management - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Word and intermediate Excel skills - Discretion in decision-making - Ability to analyze complex situations and make well-considered decisions.
